LOGLINE
Yios, a lonely mythical boy from the clouds, has trouble finding friends, because his head shines like the sun – until he falls down to Earth, where everything changes.

SYNOPSIS
In the clouds high above Earth, there is a playground where the young generation of Greek gods and mythical creatures come to play. Amongst the peculiar children with horns, hair of snakes, and heads resembling ancient ceramic vases, there is one that still manages to stand out. It is little Yios, with a shining sun crown on his head, inherited from his father Helios. 

While his father’s crown creates beautiful ornaments, Yios has trouble controlling his shine. His rays are sharp and explode in unexpected directions, making children avoid him.  Still, he energetically approaches them, determined to make friends. In his overeagerness, his rays get even more aggressive, creating disasters. Annoyed by his shining head, the children play a cruel game to prank him, and little Yios ends up falling from the clouds, directly to Earth.

However, in this strange and scary place, Yios makes an unexpected acquaintance. He meets a blind human boy, who truly appreciates his shine. His gentle touch becomes the key to unlocking what Yios most needed. Yios learns that calming down also calms his shine, and he discovers that caressing and treating his sun crown with care is the way to unlock its full potential. And when his father arrives to rescue his son so they can return to their magical world, Yios is ready to face the day in a new light.
